Sindh has a very ancient history. Sindhu river has been mentioned in Rig Veda. There are four main Vedas, Yajur Ved, Saam Ved, Arath Ved and Rig Veda.

Origin of the words “Hind” and “India” is “Sindh” .

Arabs led by Mohamad Bin Qasim conquered Sindh in 711 AD which was at that time ruled by Raja Dahir Sen.
